Our Young Preschool program is designed for 2.5 and 3-year-old children and helps prepare them for the preschool classroom.

This classroom is close to our Preschool bathroom and also has a changing table for the children who are potty training. Following a daily schedule, the teachers in this classroom plan hands on lessons to keep learning exciting for our young preschoolers. Young preschoolers will engage in art projects, sensory activities, dramatic play, outdoor play, fine and gross motor activities, story time and circle time. Teachers will work with children daily on shapes and colors, learning numbers and counting, the alphabet, and handwriting skills. We practice independence by encouraging young preschoolers to clean up after themselves, wash their hands, use silverware, and share or take turns with their friends.
